Winter 2010

Relaxing and enjoying each other's company
after the hustle and bustle of the Christmas holiday.

Thank you, everyone, for sharing your delicious holiday goodies with the Residents and Staff.  We all really enjoyed them!

Our Living Christmas Tree

Taking a much needed break after taking down and putting away the Christmas decorations.

When you talk card games, Pitch is the topic of conversation here.
 Everyone who has a hankering for this popular game comes to
Prairie Pines every Tuesday evening to play with the masters of the game.

Christmas piano fun for the whole gang.
Thank you, Nancy, for playing our favorite Christmas songs.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Betty and the Red Hatters helped make our Christmas season bright by playing the piano and leading us in a sing-a-long of traditional and new Christmas songs.  We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
 Our Residents sure have fun making their own holiday bracelets.
Pretzels dipped in white chocolate. Yum. Yum.
Betsy, Phyllis, Alydia, Yvonne and Sis decorate sugar cookies on Betsy's last day.
  We will miss her smile and yummy cooking.
Residents, friends and families enjoyed the aromas
of the ever-popular Community Christmas Tea.
We don't play golf so here is our tea box.
      Prairie Pines is all decked out for the holiday season.
We want to give a Big Thank You to Trena for decorating Prairie Pines for Christmas.  Your Christmas trees are absolutely gorgeous.  We are so blessed to have such a beautiful space to gather together for the holiday.
