Prairie Pines residents and community members are waiting for the transit van. The ride to Lamar for the Southeast Colorado Concert Association's Christmas Concert was filled with excitement and anticipation. Everyone enjoyed the Ark Valley Wind and Percussion, the Valley Jazz Orchestra, and the Main Street Ringers Hand Bell Choir. What a wonderful way to welcome in December.

It was not until 1846 when Queen Victoria and her family were pictured by a Christmas tree that the trend became popular worldwide. Seems only fitting that Dorothy has her picture taken by the Prairie Pines Christmas tree.
Doesn't the Valentine Tree look beautiful! The tree is decorated with valentines that Lois has kept since grade school. Betty and Dorothy are catching up on their reading while enjoying the warmth of that wonderful fireplace.
